Idea SummaryMy invention is an ultralight, roll top dry bag designed to be utilized in wet/cold/maritime environments. The dry bag is made out of the ultralight Dyneema fabric. The user may insert a rifle/camera equipment or tripod into the bag and then have the end rolled and clipped shut with attached buckles. The bag then may be secured to the outside of a pack when traveling on foot.
What separates the rifle dry bag from the other similar products is the ability to roll it up and pack it away. The Dyneema’s lightweight properties make it possible to carry a full length dry bag that weighs less than a pound. The bag fits into the palm of a hand when rolled up for storage.
For those engaging in higher altitude endeavors this item may also be used as an auxiliary water storage system
