Idea SummaryThe Keyboard Light Legend is a fist-sized projector that the user puts over their computer keyboard. When activated, the projector will project the default letter, number, symbol, or function of each key onto its corresponding keycap. When a button on the keyboard, such as “al,” “tab,” or “ctrl,” is held down, the projector will change what is being projected to match whatever the alternate function of the key now is. For example, the H button will by default have "h" projected on it. When "ctrl'' is being pressed, a symbol indicating search history would then be projected into the H button. The symbols will change to adapt to any application currently being used on the computer. All of this functionality would be connected to the computer via a USB and installed program. All the user has to do is enter what model keyboard they have. The user will have the option to change what the projections look like, by putting their own images into the program and saving it as a preset alongside the default projections should the need ever arise to use those again. Due to the connection to the computer, the projections will be synced to any changes to how the computer interprets the keys.
