Please provide a brief description of the entry and how it was used by your organization:With Louisiana hosting Super Bowl LIX, LED and key state stakeholders took the opportunity to host national business leaders and highlight the state's strategic location, business climate, innovation pipeline, and workforce. Key to the operation was the Louisiana Now Pavilion, the first ever state economic pavilion at a Super Bowl - featuring Louisiana-centered decor, interactive stations, live music, life-size holographics of the Governor and Owner of the Saints, local cuisine, and multimedia displays circulating key state metrics.
Throughout the week the pavilion served as the home field for events targeting national and local business leaders, media, and politicians leading up to the big game, shining a spotlight on past success and future opportunities. That spotlight was seen by over 4,000 business leaders and 200+ media members leading to over 80 million media impressions as the holistic use of the space immersed visitors in Louisiana's business environment and all its advantages.
Simultaneously, LED and all partners engaged in strategically planned activities to support the initiative goals. Some of the most notable include hosting nearly 30 global executives and site selection consultants for a physical tour of facilities and demonstration of Louisiana’s business opportunities; launching an aggressive business media campaign that achieved local, national, and international reach; and hosting a series of business and economic development focused programs.
