You chose to provide a short written description (up to 300 words) explaining how your organization makes an impact in the community.Regal Dane Rescue has been apart of the community since 2019. We are a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and adopts Great Danes within the state of Arizona. Last year we took in 133 Great Danes from shelters, strays and owner surrenders. We adopted out 131.
Many of the dogs come into the rescue abused, neglected, ill/injured and we rehabilitate, provide medical care for them and find them loving families. Often we have families reach out to us needing a place for their dog to go due to life/financial situations. When given the chance we will try to work with families to help them keep their beloved pet. We also educate the public on the importence of responsible pet ownership including spaying and neutering.
We operate solely on donations and with volunteers.
