You chose to provide a short written description (up to 300 words) explaining how your organization makes an impact in the community.The 100 Black Men of Phoenix, a non-profit organization founded in 1988, comprises professional African American men dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for African Americans in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. Our mission revolves around improving educational and economic opportunities, fostering active leadership, and empowering minority youth to become valuable members of society. We presently mentor over 100 youth monthly and maintain partnerships with various community organizations. Our organization recognizes the critical importance of mentoring BIPOC and female youth in the Maricopa, Pinal, and Yavapai counties. By offering guidance, support, and opportunities, we seek to uplift and amplify the voices of marginalized communities. Our mentoring program provides an inclusive and safe space for young individuals to nurture their unique talents, develop leadership skills, and explore their full potential. Through meaningful connections with experienced mentors from diverse backgrounds, our participants gain access to invaluable insights, resources, and networks. Together, we are committed to breaking down barriers and promoting a more equitable and diverse society. We envision a future where every young person can thrive and contribute to building a brighter, more inclusive, and equitable Phoenix and beyond.
