Founded by Blakelèi and Taliq Parish along with our children after the profound loss of our beloved baby girl, Ta’Rya, we know firsthand how overwhelming the simplest daily tasks can become when you are mourning. When Ta'Rya’s heartbeat could not be found near the end of my pregnancy, our world stopped. The challenges of eating, sleeping, and caring for our other children became almost insurmountable. While we were blessed to have family step in with meals, cleaning, and childcare, we quickly realized that many grieving families face these dark days entirely alone.
Today, we strive to be the vital support system we wish everyone had during their hardest moments. Operating with a deep sense of empathy, our foundation provides free consulting sessions, vital supplies like food and everyday necessities, and a steady, caring presence. We aim to alleviate the heavy burden on families by addressing both their practical, logistical needs and their emotional well-being, ensuring that no one has to manage the realities of daily life while in deep mourning. We envision a community where those who are grieving can find true solace, allowing them to navigate their heartbreak with absolute dignity, care, and a helping hand. At the Parish Family Foundation, we are committed to making sure no family faces adversity alone—because together, in honor of Ta’Rya, let’s make it legendary.
