Our Heart
Healing doesn’t happen in a waiting room. At Grace & Grit Rescue and Restoration Ranch, it happens in a round pen or in the saddle, learning to stand still and honest in front of a large animal who won’t let you fake it.
Our equine assisted healing programs work with people going through some of the hardest seasons of their lives, including trauma, anxiety, grief, and struggles that don’t always have words yet. Horses don’t need an explanation. They just respond to what’s actually there, which turns out to be more honest feedback than most conversations ever give us. Through a mix of groundwork, liberty work, and mounted sessions, our clients build trust and self awareness they take with them long after they leave the arena.
Our youth program started because we know how hard adolescence can be, and how many kids get through it without a single steady person beside them. We built a twelve week program around three simple ideas: Know Yourself, Know Your People, Know Your Path. It gives teens a real place to practice the things that matter, like regulating their emotions, communicating honestly, and bouncing back.
We call it “First Step, Second Chance.” Because that’s what we believe every person and every horse deserves. A lot of our horses have their own hard history. Watching them heal is often where our clients start to see their own.
Grace & Grit exists because this community needs more places where people can show up without judgment and leave with real tools. Your support helps us keep that door open for the people who need it.
