Since 2010, we have worked alongside individuals and families facing food insecurity, providing consistent access to nutritious food while treating every neighbor with dignity, compassion, and respect.
The rising costs of housing, healthcare, transportation, and everyday essentials have placed increasing financial pressure on working families, seniors, veterans, and individuals living on fixed incomes. For many, food becomes the flexible expense in an already strained budget. By helping meet this basic need, Matthew's Crossing enables households to stretch limited resources further, reducing financial stress and helping families remain stable during difficult times.
In 2025, Matthew's Crossing provided food assistance to more than 171,000 individuals through a combination of daily pantry services, weekend backpack programs for children, mobile food distributions, and home deliveries that reduce barriers to access. We continuously adapt our services to meet emerging community needs, ensuring that help is available where and when it is needed most.
Beyond providing food, Matthew's Crossing strengthens the health and resilience of the East Valley. Access to nutritious meals improves well-being, supports children's success in school, and allows families to focus on work, education, caregiving, and other opportunities that contribute to long-term stability.
