You chose to provide a short written description (up to 300 words) explaining how your organization makes an impact in the community.Alone No More Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) volunteer‑based animal welfare organization in Arizona, dedicated to saving homeless dogs from overcrowded kill shelters. Founded in the Fall 2020, we believe that no dog should be euthanized for lack of a home.
We partner with both large open‑intake and small rural shelters—such as Pinal County Animal Care and Control, Humane Society of the White Mountains, and Casa Grande Animal Shelter—rescuing dogs at highest risk of euthanasia, including those that might require some behavioral modification training.
Since our inception, Alone No More has saved 660 dogs and counting. We provide them with medical care, behavioral support, fostering, and adoption services—helping dogs transition safely and successfully into their forever homes.
Our financials reflect growth in community support and grant funding year over year, and we have a huge need for additional support as we continue to build the Alone No More Rescue Facility, located in Apache Junction, AZ. We are building a dedicated facility to improve the quality of care for rescued dogs while they wait for adoption and foster placement. This facility will allow us to have greater control over medical, behavioral, and day‑to‑day care, reduce shelter stress, and increase capacity for the dogs who need us most.
Our commitment is “one dog at a time, one day at a time.” We don’t just place dogs—we also care deeply about matching them with adopters in a way that is right for both dog and human, emphasizing humane, sustainable placements.
