You chose to provide a short written description (up to 300 words) explaining how your organization makes an impact in the community.Angel Heart Pajama Project believes every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for, especially during times of crisis. Since 2013, our nonprofit has provided new pajamas and age-appropriate books to children from infancy through age 18 throughout Southern Arizona who are experiencing homelessness, foster care placement, abuse, neglect, domestic violence, medical crises, and family instability.
Each year, we serve approximately 7,000 children through a trusted network of more than 95 community partners, including schools, shelters, hospitals, foster care agencies, first responders, and family service organizations. These partnerships, along with the support of our dedicated volunteers, allow us to respond quickly and efficiently, ensuring children receive comfort and support when they need it most.
A new pair of pajamas offers warmth, dignity, and a sense of security during uncertain times, while a new book promotes literacy, strengthens family connections, and encourages positive bedtime routines that support emotional well-being. Together, these simple gifts remind children that their community cares about them and that they are not alone.
Since our founding, Angel Heart Pajama Project has served more than 73,000 children across Southern Arizona. By investing in children's well-being and fostering strong community partnerships, we help create healthier, more resilient families and brighter futures. Every donation directly impacts a child in need, providing comfort, hope, and the reassurance that someone believes in them.
