Inspired by Amanda's strength and compassion, her mother, Lorraine Tallman, established AHRA to ensure that no family faces childhood cancer or another life-threatening illness alone.
For nearly 13 years, AHRA has been dedicated to bringing dignity, comfort, and hope to children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, as well as to their families. Through innovative programs and compassionate support, AHRA addresses the emotional, practical, and financial challenges families face throughout treatment and beyond.
As a trusted advocate for pediatric patients—known as our Warriors—AHRA provides resources that fill critical gaps in care, serving not only the child but also parents, siblings, and caregivers. From financial assistance and counseling to comfort items, meals, wellness services, and family support programs, AHRA helps families navigate one of life's most difficult journeys with compassion, dignity, and hope.
