You chose to provide a short written description (up to 300 words) explaining how your organization makes an impact in the community.Little Humble Entrepreneurs Foundation believes every child deserves the opportunity to dream, create, and build something of their own. Our mission is to empower youth through entrepreneurship by providing hands-on experiences that teach business ownership, financial literacy, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Rather than simply talking about entrepreneurship, we guide young people through the process of creating their own businesses—from developing an idea and designing a logo to learning customer service, marketing, budgeting, and selling their products at community pop-up markets.
Over the past year, we have continued expanding our impact by creating meaningful partnerships that expose our youth to new opportunities. Through our partnership with Palms & Paws, our students learned about pet therapy and the positive impact animals can have on emotional well-being and mental health. We believe developing successful entrepreneurs also means developing compassionate, confident, and well-rounded young leaders.
This year has also tested our resilience. A devastating fire in the building next to our foundation forced us to lose our facility and relocate. While we lost our space, we never lost our purpose. We have continued serving our youth, adapting our programs, and finding new ways to keep our mission alive because our community depends on us.
With support from Arizona Financial’s Local Causes program, we can rebuild stronger than ever by securing a new home for our programs, purchasing educational materials and business supplies, expanding mentorship opportunities, and providing more hands-on experiences that prepare youth to become future business owners and community leaders. Every investment made in our organization is an investment in the next generation of entrepreneurs who will one day create jobs, strengthen neighborhoods, and inspire others to believe that success is possible regardless of where they begin.
Many of the youth we serve have never met a business owner who looks like them until they walk through our doors. We strive to show them that entrepreneurship is not just something they can learn—it is something they can achieve.
