For nearly 40 years, we have partnered with restaurants, resorts, caterers, grocers, corporate cafeterias, and event venues to rescue high-quality, perishable food that would otherwise go to waste. Through our same-day rescue and delivery model, nutritious food reaches nonprofit organizations while it is still fresh, ensuring it can immediately benefit children, families, older adults, veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and others facing food insecurity. In Arizona, where an estimated one in seven people experiences food insecurity, millions of pounds of wholesome food are discarded each year. Waste Not addresses two of Arizona's most pressing challenges by reducing food insecurity while advancing environmental stewardship. Specifically, in 2025, we rescued more than 2.95 million pounds of food, providing the equivalent of 2.46 million meals through a network of 96 food donors and 65 nonprofit partners across the Valley. Every pound of food rescued helps nourish our neighbors while reducing landfill waste, conserving valuable natural resources, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Our impact extends beyond meals. By providing reliable access to nutritious food at no cost, we enable nonprofit partners to redirect limited resources toward housing, education, healthcare, workforce development, and other critical services. At the same time, we help businesses achieve their sustainability goals by offering a responsible, efficient solution for managing surplus food. At Waste Not, we believe that good food should feed people — not landfills. Through innovative partnerships and a shared commitment to reducing hunger and food waste, we are building healthier communities, strengthening the nonprofit sector, and creating a more sustainable Arizona for future generations.
