Political Involvement Award.
I have worked with Yazcara for ten years. In that time I have watched plenty of
agents get interested in advocacy when something threatens their business and lose
interest the moment it passes. Yazcara has never been that. She has been a steady
and vocal supporter of RPAC for as long as I have known her, and she supports it
because she understands what it actually protects.
That is the part I am proudest of. She can explain to another agent, in plain
language, why RPAC matters. Not the talking points, the real version. What happens
to a first time buyer, what happens to a property owner, and what happens to all of
us when nobody is in the room speaking for them. She has brought other agents along
because of it. Advocacy spreads in a brokerage when one person makes it normal, and
in my office that person is Yazcara.
She does it without being asked and without looking for recognition. She has never
once come to me for credit for any of it, which is a good part of the reason I am
the one submitting this rather than her.
The Association has her record and it speaks for itself. What I can add is the ten
years of context behind it. Yazcara protects this profession because she believes in
what homeownership does for people and for the families who build something on it,
and she has been consistent about that every year I have known her.
I am proud to have her in my brokerage, and I am proud to put her name forward.
