Submission AbstractEverlasting Technology is a social enterprise working on innovations to transform waste to clean energy. Our product is a smart portable biogas system that converts household waste into cooking gas. It uses IoT technology and sensors to enable users to pay only for the gas they consume, enabling last-mile communities access to clean energy. Our system is a compact, self-contained, multi-purpose home cooking unit that uses organic waste to generate electricity and cooking gas. The household system provides energy to cook all family meals, electricity for lighting, mobile phone charging, digital access, and other needs.
Value Proposition Our product is contributing to providing access to clean energy to rural households in Sub-Saharan Africa, reducing their dependence on traditional fuels such as firewood and charcoal, which have a negative impact on the environment and health. It also provides an efficient way to upcycle waste.
How we plan to make money1. Pay as you go (PAYGO) energy sales 2. Data Monetization: The IoT technology and sensors used in the system collect data on usage patterns and energy consumption, which is monetized through partnerships with data analysis companies or by selling insights to governments and energy organizations.
Launch StrategyWe have done prototype development and carried out a pilot phase in 15 households.
