Submission AbstractRaritiesMarket is a two-sided marketplace for the rare coin industry, allowing users to safely transact with one another. Our platform offers real time pricing information on the industry for enhanced data transparency. We are looking to add an investing platform to make expensive coins accessible.
Value Proposition Our company provides accessible information for collectors of any level, helping them avoid scams, over-priced items, and greedy dealers with bad intent (scams or overpriced items are common in the industry). Our marketplace will protect collector's hard earned money by offering safe transactions.
How we plan to make moneyOur company will primarily make profit from transactional fees (industry low 2.5-5% per sale). These fees will allow dealers to keep more of their money, while providing us a cut on high ticket items. We will also generate revenues through subscription fees on dealer memberships and exclusives.
Launch StrategyWe are pre-launch, but plan to launch soon. Right now, we are building early traction through social media while our developer finishes our homepage and demo. Once this demo is live, we will take customers on a waitlist, and build out our database. Our marketplace will be built with more funding.
