Submission AbstractWe make delicious and nutrient-rich trail mixes that are free of the top-9 food allergens, as recognized by the FDA. These include milk, eggs, nuts, fish, crustaceans, shellfish, wheat, soy and sesame. Our customers are individuals who have sensitive-to-severe allergies to these foods.
Value Proposition The FDA does not regulate brand-reported allergen disclaimers on packaged foods, making it very difficult for people with common food allergies to understand if there's potential cross contamination in any step of the supply chain and in the final product. We clarity into informed decision making.
How we plan to make moneyWe've built our unit economics around positive profit margins. We sell our snacks at competitive wholesale prices to grocery stores. We will see even greater margins as we grow and can order our inputs at higher volumes. Our margin is greatest with large orders focusing on high growth channels.
Launch StrategyWe launched in 2022 and sold into 28 stores, primarily independent grocery stores and also online. Our sales strategy is primarily focusing on high growth retail in the natural and organic sector, while also producing organic content online to drive sales to our website and Amazon.
