Submission AbstractOur service, Pneuma, is an online platform for those with autoimmune diseases. We focus on college aged persons who are living with an autoimmune disease. We provide a service where people can get support from others through our online forum. The support Pneuma offers includes referrals to medical specialists or treatments they may not have been aware of beforehand, and guidance by trained therapists to help with the mental health of our patrons.
Value Proposition Our business is aimed towards supporting young adults in high school or college settings that are struggling with long-term autoimmune diseases. We hope to create a safe place for these young adults to form a community of support, find guidance, and professional help.
How we plan to make moneyWe will make a profit based on a monthly subscription fee that gives young adults access to premium options on our platform. Services like ours cost upwards of 20-50 dollars. We will be charging 50 dollars as we intend to provide our customers with high quality service.
Launch StrategyPneuma has yet to launch, but we plan to launch our online platform in the Fall of 2023. To begin we are going with an on-campus focus group. We will start with a small group of students who have experience struggling with long-term illness on our home campus of Iowa State.
