AboutReal estate ownership can be seen as a daunting achievement in my community. Being from the south side of Chicago—a young black woman whose parents were divorced and raised primarily by a single mom who had kids at a younger age—I want to serve my community and to strive for and achieve excellence.
I decided to obtain my real estate license in 2020, having always been interested in real estate. I became a real estate investor at 23 when I purchased my first investment property. I recognized the freedom and security it provided to my growing family and me, and I wanted to encourage and aid others to do the same. I hope to inspire other millennials who look like me and who have had similar upbringings—even some of the same fears—and show them that it’s possible, all while having fun doing it. I want to help people understand how to shift their mindset and be able to build generational wealth through real estate.
