Submission NameUniversity of North Dakota, Memorial Union
Project Intent StatementThe University of North Dakota's Memorial Union was reimagined to honor the campus’s rich architectural heritage while addressing the contemporary needs of its students. Our design intention was to create a dynamic facility that blends seamlessly with the historic district, embodying the timeless collegiate gothic style. Through a collaborative, student-driven process, we crafted spaces that cater to a wide range of activities, ensuring the building serves as a vibrant hub for campus life. The result is a modern union that respects tradition while fostering connection and innovation among students
