08/16/2024 Orlinne Molme Kenesha does not lack in the area of selflessness. When she gives you her time, she gives whole heartedly. I’ve known her to be a woman who is very giving of her time to community efforts locally and stateside. I can recall a time coming to her for more info on our regional and state community engagement committees, where she graciously, without hesitation, explained the WHAT, WHY and benefits of joining such a community. Her volunteerism doesn’t end here with just the real estate profession, but it flows into her communities locally. Not only is she an inspiration to her own family, but she is an inspiration to us all.

Kenesha stands out as an exceptional individual whose contributions extend far beyond the call of duty. Her commitment to the betterment of our community is both inspiring and impactful. Through tireless volunteer efforts, Kenesha has demonstrated a deep-rooted belief in serving her community and beyond without bragging about it. She is always on the go and often times out in the streets giving back by serving the homeless population, volunteering in shelters, helping those she sees in need on various Facebook pages. She gives back not only her time but also monetary contributions. Kenesha Wood deserves an award.

Why you feel this person deserves this award.My dedication to community participation stems from the belief that true change happens when we invest our time and efforts into the causes we hold dear. I've volunteered with local nonprofits, actively engaging in initiatives that address issues ranging from education and healthcare to environmental sustainability. This commitment is not driven by recognition but by an innate drive to better the lives of those who call our community home. The formation of my local nonprofit is almost complete and this will allow me to have a greater reach to those who are underserved. Giving back is not just a hobby for me, it is a way of life so much so that my children are doing the same. My 10YO became the only child to be given a PBSO Award for her dedication for years in helping the homeless and she thank me for being her mentor and hero. I am grateful for this opportunity to be considered and humbly submit that my dedication to community, volunteerism, and heartfelt service align seamlessly with the purpose of the Humanitarian Award. I am PBSO volunteer because I saw a need to protect and advocate for members in Palm Beach County. You can find me in the streets when there is an accident, someone in need, doing community events, distributing food on a monthly basis and rendering aid to those who are facing homelessness. I saw there was a need and I decided to do something. I was recently honored and recognized by the Mayor and Village of Wellington for my dedication. I am on the Housing Selection Committee for Habitat of Humanity to help applicants to get a home. In addition to this, I give back often in the building and dedication of homes. My unwavering support and participation of our Association community service events have never falter. I am one of the first to raise my hand because it is for the greater good. I humbly believe I am deserving of the Humanitarian award due to my consistent efforts in giving back to my community. I go above and beyond what is expected.
