Submission DescriptionPower of Play’s 3-in-1 child-friendly device measures grip & pinch strength with high sensitivity, using audio-visual stimuli to engage children in play-based rehabilitation. Current devices require a minimum grip threshold that most children can’t reach, leading to subjective measurement methods.
Power of Play is the only device that objectively measures young children’s grip strength, enabling therapists to standardize assessments, navigate treatment options, track rehab, and inform surgical decision-making. This improves healthcare for the 1 in 20 children with fine motor difficulties.
We will adopt a B2B sales approach, targeting occupational therapy/ physiotherapy clinics, and hospitals, with units sold at $300 and a yearly recalibration fee, yielding a 60% profit margin. Future iterations will enable B2C sales by offering the device as a home-training tool for children.
