Submission DescriptionWe are developing wearable, multi-pack prescriptible rescue inhalers to address the needs of over 87% of users who have experienced life-threatening flare-ups without access to their inhaler, reduce costs by up to $500, and minimize the environmental impact of inhaler usage.
Our rescue inhalers could impact 474M people worldwide who have faced life-threatening flare-ups without inhalers and reduce costs by up to $500 per unit. Traditional inhalers release greenhouse gases equal to over 400,000 homes yearly, but our prescription model reduces emissions.
Our strategy is to license the Portahaler to firms like Sanofi or GSK, leveraging their expertise for faster market entry. Based on similar deals, we estimate $330M in value with 10-30% upfront, milestone payments, and 5-10% royalties. Airsupra’s $28M in six months shows strong market potential.
