Why you feel this person deserves this award.With great pride, I nominate AApex Electric Inc. for the 2025 Affiliate Company of the Year. For over a decade, we’ve been a dedicated supporter of this incredible association and its Attainable Housing Foundation, and our 2024 efforts showcase why we deserve this honor.
Our Vice President of Business Development, Christy Romano, has been a driving force as Community Outreach Chair, tirelessly promoting association events and educating realtors about the Attainable Housing Foundation. Her enthusiasm shone at the Realtor Day at the Mets, where she braved the dunk tank, raising $1,000 for the association. Despite her demanding role at AApex, Christy serves on every committee, sharing her talents to strengthen our community.
Similarly, our sales representative, Vicki Hornbecker, has chaired the Treasure Coast Golf Committee for three consecutive years. Her leadership ensures the annual golf tournament unites our community, raising funds and awareness for our shared goals. By lending Vicki’s expertise, AApex has prioritized the association’s success, even at a cost to our own resources.
In 2024, AApex Electric went all in—sponsoring events, volunteering, and visiting local real estate offices to spread the word about attainable housing. Our commitment is personal, driven by a passion for building a stronger community. With Christy and Vicki leading the charge, we’ve amplified the association’s impact across Broward, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie Counties.
