JD’s resume speaks volumes as RWorld Secretary (2025), Treasurer (2020), Executive Board member for nearly a decade, BeachesMLS Board 2024/2025, RPAC Trustee, Leadership Academy mentor, instructor, government affairs advocate... the list goes on. At a recent state leadership event, someone from another association introduced JD as “the guy who always knows your name, even when you think no one’s paying attention.” That’s the kind of leader he is—present, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in the people around him. He’s the one who stays to help, lead and is present at hundreds of events. He’s the one making introductions for new REALTORS®, encouraging them to apply for a committee, to run for office, to speak up. His support doesn’t come with conditions, it comes with consistency.
JD’s involvement spans state and national levels including being a trusted Key Contact for elected officials, a voice on RPAC & Government Affairs, and a consistent presence at Florida REALTORS® events. You’ll still see him leading training sessions, showing up for YPN events, or taking time to mentor an agent who’s unsure where to start. JD believes that staying grounded in your home association is what gives leadership meaning and he lives that belief.
JD represents our association with pride, and not just when he’s on a stage or in a boardroom. He brings the RWorld spirit with him wherever he goes, whether advocating in Tallahassee or simply helping a fellow REALTOR® close a deal. He is the definition of a trailblazer - in Florida and Nationally
