Why you feel this person deserves this award.I’ve had the privilege of watching his leadership journey from the very beginning. Even as a teenager, he took on responsibilities beyond his years; mentoring others, running our family’s watersports school, and dedicating himself to helping people grow. That spirit never left him. In fact, it’s only deepened.
Today, JD is the kind of leader who doesn’t just show up he pours into people. He gives his time, his energy, and his heart to the real estate community at every level. He mentors without being asked, steps in when others step back, and leads with humility. Whether he’s helping a new agent find their footing or rallying support for disaster victims through the Realtor Relief Foundation, he does it with purpose and care.
I’ve watched him give his all as a teacher, a mentor, a speaker, and an advocate. He’s helped shape policies, lead strategic plans, and guided countless others into leadership. But more than anything, he leads by example. He doesn’t just talk about service, he lives it.
I believe the kind of quiet, consistent mentorship JD offers is exactly what this award was created to honor. He’s not in it for recognition he’s in it to make a difference. And he does, every single day.
