Why you feel this person deserves this award. As a longtime friend and colleague, and as the broker-owner of a local real estate company with a deep, lifelong interest in legislation and politics, I’ve followed JD McClintock’s career and volunteer leadership closely for many years.
JD McClintock is one of the most consistent, committed, and courageous voices we have in Realtor® advocacy. His work has not only supported our profession but has also fiercely defended homeownership, private property rights, and the future of real estate.
For over a decade, JD has shown up in Tallahassee, Washington D.C., and at local commission meetings. He doesn’t go because someone asked him to—he goes because he understands what’s at stake. He has served as a Key Contact for multiple elected officials, and his ability to build genuine, lasting relationships with lawmakers has given our members a stronger and more credible voice across all levels of government.
When local property rights were under attack, such as with the Lake Worth Beach ordinance, JD was on the ground organizing, advocating, and helping protect what matters most to our clients. I work regularly with investors in the Lake Worth community, and after I shared what JD and our local Realtors® had done on their behalf, they were both impressed and incredibly grateful.
JD’s leadership with RPAC speaks for itself. He has served as RPAC Fundraising Chairman three times, and under his leadership, nearly $2 million has been raised for the Realtor® Party. He is a Hall of Fame Inductee, a Golden R and Presidents Circle investor, and has held RPAC leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, including Chair of the NAR RPAC Participation Committee.
JD doesn’t just believe in advocacy, he puts it into action. He mentors others, builds strategy, and never misses the chance to help others understand the why behind our political efforts. (Continued below)
