AboutWhen I was 8 years old, my family immigrated to the United States from Ukraine with very few funds. We lived with family temporarily while my parents carefully saved money. My father began work as a mechanic for semi-trucks, where he diligently put in long hours to support our family. People would wait in line and say, “I only want to work with Ivan.” There, in that garage, he taught me a relentless work ethic, as well as the value of being excellent at one’s craft. The truck drivers and my dad were my role models—they were investing in their businesses and committed to their families and their futures. I try to bring the same mentality to real estate by being disciplined, focused, and intuitive to what my clients need. While I didn’t feel a passion for making a career in that garage, I was shaped and molded by the lessons I learned there. It was the best education I could have asked for.
