The Big Idea Competition is an opportunity for AACC students to pitch a unique or original idea. This event is an opportunity to get creative and identify opportunities that solve a problem or create a convenience. Your video should be persuasive, imagining that your audience is made up of potential investors. Imagine that you were putting the video on your “Go Fund Me” page or pitching your idea on "Shark Tank."

Judges will review submitted videos and score submissions. Top videos will be viewed Thursday, November 17th during the Big Idea Competition Viewing Party and Awards Ceremony at 3:30 p.m. in HLSB 100. Prizes will be awarded.

  • 1st Place:  $1,000
  • 2nd Place: $   500
  • 3rd Place:  $   250
  • Fan Favorite:  $250 will be awarded to the video with the most votes based on daily votes online from November 11th 8 a.m. to November 15th at 8 a.m.
  • Community Idea: $250 will be awarded to a big idea focused on making a difference in the community.

Special thanks to our award sponsor The Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation!
