The Best New Workplace Awards are given to projects that align with the CRE business drivers and support the organization’s mission with the use of real estate, innovations in design, functionality and technology. In other words, these awards recognize real estate projects that best support the business’s goals, not necessarily the projects with the best design. For these awards, “workplace” is intended to encompass space where people work; this could include community workspaces, collaborative office environments, labs, or manufacturing/industrial spaces.

Criteria:

  • The workplace project must be transformative to the core business functionality and/or work environment of the company or business unit for which it was built.
  • The submission should demonstrate how the workplace project is intended to or has contributed to the strategic initiatives and/or goals of the company in some measurable way. Examples include positive impact on bottom line, productivity of employees, employee retention and/or recruitment metrics for hiring new employees, etc.
  • The project should represent a unique business or real estate concept, application, or process that is applicable to other business organizations. For example, the concept has advanced the field of real estate utilization, process management, design, and/or engineering but can be applied generally to any other workplace project.

Winners will be announced early January 2023 and will be celebrated at our annual Awards Ceremony on April 27, 2023 at the Westin Seaport, Boston.
