The guidelines below have been set by the Education Foundation Grants Committee:

 Proposal must use a creative approach to accomplish its objectives.
 Proposal must contain sound evaluation procedures for measuring the success of the program/project.
 Proposal must be clear and logical.
 Proposal budget must be detailed and exact.
 Proposal must meet the approval of the current campus principal/department head.
 Proposal must comply with ECISD strategic plan and district policies.
 Proposal must not refer to any specific teacher(s) or campus. This is intended to be a blinded process.
