Thank you for your interest in applying for a 2022 scholarship from the NSPE Education Foundation!

The NSPE Education Foundation provides scholarships to support talented students pursuing engineering. Currently the Foundation awards the following scholarships, with another scholarship currently under development:

  • The Maureen L. and Howard N. Blitman, P.E., Scholarship to Promote Diversity in Engineering is awarded annually to a high school senior from an ethnic minority who has been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year college or university.
  • The Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship is awarded annually to a female undergraduate entering or continuing their junior year of a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. Multiple awards are potentially available.
  • The Steinman Scholarship is awarded annually to undergraduates entering or continuing their junior year in a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. The award is for $5000. Multiple awards are potentially available.
  • The George B. Hightower, P.E. Fellowship is awarded annually to a current engineering undergraduate or graduate student who is enrolled in, or graduated from, an ABET-accredited engineering program.

Intended to support talented students studying engineering, these scholarships are made possible through generous contributions from NSPE members, corporations, and friends of NSPE.

The application process for all scholarships is now fully online within this portal. You will need to create an account and/or login to complete your applications. Please review the eligibility requirements and required documents before applying – those requirements can be found in this system or on the NSPE Education Foundation's scholarship page.

This portal offers the ability to review or update your applications as needed, up until the deadline. Application deadlines for all 2022 scholarships will be April 1, 2022.
