The Nashville Analytics Summit was created in 2013 by Nashville Technology Council members. With 488% growth since inception, the Summit continues to expand as one of Nashville's largest, locally grown tech events in the region. It focuses on fundamental issues in organizations today: how to effectively leverage big data and analytics. This two-day Summit alternates between hands-on workshops and speaker presentations, presented by experts from various industries and backgrounds. The event will be held on September 28-29, 2022 at the Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville. Chosen presenters will be required to present their session in person at the conference. The Summit organizers may also request that presenters pre-record their session to make available to attendees, as we have done for the past two years during the COVID pandemic.

The following information can be utilized to provide guidance when considering how to frame your abstract submission.

The Analytics Summit incorporates a wide variety of topics across multiple themes, not all of which are technical. See the downloads section below to view the sheet with descriptions of the various session themes. The abstract selection process helps ensure that each of these themes is represented in the final program.

The highest-rated abstracts during the selection process are usually those that describe an application of some method or approach (whether technical or non-technical in nature) that would be of value to a large number of attendees. Conversely, abstracts that go deep into theory without application, and/or that appear to focus on an extremely narrow area of application, are typically scored lower.

A presentation given by an individual representing a vendor should not be a sales pitch. All sessions should include valuable and pertinent information to all attendees, regardless of whether or not they have the ability to engage with or utilize a vendor’s product, solution, or service.
