APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read below for instructions on how to effectively complete The Leadership Class of 2025 application. If you have any questions during the application process, please contact Tauren Robinson El Bey at trobinsonelbey@theleadership.org.

To be considered for admission into the program, applicants must complete all four of the following tasks which are described in more detail below.

  1. Completion of an on-line application form (includes attaching a current photo and resume) by Monday, November 4 at 11:59 PM.
  2. Submission of an Employer Sponsorship Form by Monday, November 4 at 11:59 PM.
  3. In-person interviews will take place on November 14 and 15, and you will be scheduled for 60-minutes with members of the Program Selection Committee.
  4. A review of the 2025 Leadership 2025 Program Calendar and commitment to the required sessions and overall attendance policy.

The Program Selection Committee will not consider applications that have not met these requirements.
 

1) On-line Application Form

The on-line application form requires applicants to provide basic information, answer a series of short essay questions and upload both a resume and photograph. You will be able to save and edit your application until it is submitted. Upon submission, no further changes can be made. To return to the application, click HERE to log back in.

PLEASE NOTE: The on-line application must be submitted by Monday, November 4 at 11:59 PM.


2) Employer Sponsorship Form

Because the Leadership program demands significant time during the conventional workday, we ask applicants to discuss the program requirements, including the time commitment, with their supervisors before beginning the application process. The Employer Sponsorship Form is our way of ensuring that applicants’ organizations will provide the work release time for participation in the program.

If you are the senior ranking person in your organization, you do not need to fill out an Employer Sponsorship Form.

PLEASE NOTE: The Employer Sponsorship Form must be submitted by Monday, November 4 at 11:59 PM.


3) Selection Committee Interview

After submitting an on-line application form, each applicant will be invited to interview with members of the Program Selection Committee. Interviews will take place on November 14 and November 15 and will be scheduled in the order applications are submitted. As such, early submission of all application materials is encouraged. We anticipate that interviews will take place in-person and we will adapt accordingly if the public health situation evolves.


4) You will be asked to review and commit to the 2025 program calendar and attendance requirements.


INFORMATION SESSIONS (OPTIONAL)

The Leadership will host optional Information Sessions for applicants to understand the program’s objectives and requirements. During each information session, candidates will have the opportunity to ask questions and to hear from Leadership alumni, staff, and current class members.
