Thank you for your interest in ACPA College Scholarships. Eligible applicants include those born with cleft lip, palate, or other craniofacial anomalies who have not received an ACPA college scholarship in the past and who will be attending a U.S. accredited institution in the fall of 2024. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on past academic performance and indications of future academic success, evidence of leadership and/or school and community involvement, and the applicant essays.

You must submit your application, including your recommendations and transcript, by 11:59PM EDT on March 15, 2024. For any questions, please email Lauren Mowles at lmowles@acpacares.org. 

Please review the eligibility for each scholarship before beginning your application.

Randall/LaRossa Honors Scholarship Award – One $10,000 award

  • Have a diagnosis of cleft lip and/or cleft palate or other congenital craniofacial difference.
  • Have not received a college scholarship from ACPA in the past.
  • Be enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution or program in the United States during the year of award.
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 unweighted.

Randall/LaRossa General Scholarship Award – One $5,000 award

  • Have a diagnosis of cleft lip and/or cleft palate or other congenital craniofacial difference.
  • Have not received a college scholarship from ACPA in the past.
  • Be enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution or program in the United States during the year of award.
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 unweighted.

Randall/LaRossa Vocational or Technical Scholarship Award – One $5,000 award

  • For students attending community, vocational, or technical school ONLY
  • Have a diagnosis of cleft lip and/or cleft palate or other congenital craniofacial difference.
  • Have not received a college scholarship from ACPA in the past.
  • Be enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution or program in the United States during the year of award.
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 unweighted.
