The Johns Hopkins Alumni Association presents six prestigious annual awards to honor deserving graduates, professors, and friends of Johns Hopkins:

The Distinguished Alumnus/a Award
Heritage Award
Distinguished Public Service Award
Global Achievement Award
Outstanding Recent Graduate Award*
Community Champion Award

*Recent graduates include alumni who have graduated between 2017 and 2026. 

Please note that if you are nominating someone and are not directly part of Johns Hopkins University (e.g., a friend of the university, a colleague of the nominee), your nomination will be forwarded to the administrators of the school for which your nominee is affiliated. The purpose of this step is twofold:
1) To inform the school of an alumna or alumnus who is being nominated. 
2) To allow the school to review the nomination and suggest the edits that could improve the strength of the submission based on improved formatting or additional information/data.
Please note that the school does not have any authority to edit or remove your submission. If you, the nominator, decide not to make any changes to the submission, it will be submitted without changes or edits.

Please answer the following questions in a narrative statement, 500 words maximum, that addresses the criteria for the award: Why now for this nomination? What are concrete examples of the nominee's accomplishments and contributions? What sets this individual or group apart from others in the field? How is this individual or group distinctive in their their career and community? Do you think the nominee furthers the values of the university and the profession?  

Supplemental information not to exceed three (3) pages may be uploaded, such as letters of support, background information on industry-specific accolades, and/or articles about the individual. Do not include CVs or links to articles.
