Scholarship Program 2027

Beacon Credit Union is making available five (5) $2,500 scholarships to five (5) students who are entering their freshman year in the fall of 2027.

Requirements:

  • Community Service: List top 5 community service activities based on the number of hours of service performed.
  • Complete Two Essays: Each essay must be between 800–1000 characters (including spaces, must stay within these limits).
  • Transcript: Current or most updated transcript included with application. No transcript results in disqualification of application.

Rules

Eligibility:

  • Applicant needs to be a member of Beacon Credit Union at the time of application.
  • Applicant must be entering their freshman year in the fall of 2027.
  • The scholarship is to be used towards an accredited college, university or technical school.
  • A student may receive a scholarship from another source and still be eligible to receive this award.
  • Students applying for the scholarship will apply on a form authorized by the Board of Directors of Beacon Credit Union.
  • All materials MUST be submitted by January 31, 2027.
