Welcome to the 2025 CoreNet Global - New England Chapter Awards of Excellence Nominations Submission Portal
Award submissions will open Monday, January 13, 2025 and the deadline to submit will close on Monday, February 17, 2025. Winners will be announced in early March 2025, and will be celebrated at our annual Awards Ceremony on May 14th at New England Aquarium.
We will recognize and celebrate both individuals and organizations for outstanding leadership and highlight projects in the Corporate Real Estate industry for their accomplishments made in 2024.
The 2025 Award Categories are:
- End User Leadership Award: Americas
- End User Leadership Award: Global
- Service Provider Leadership Award
- CoreNet Global - New England Chapter Volunteer Hall of Fame Award
- Young Leader Leadership Award
- Best New Workplace Awards: Large Project (>75,000 SF)

The End User Leadership Award: Americas is designed to recognize a North American CoreNet Global – New England Chapter member who provides leadership to the success of the corporate real estate industry and of their department, team, and company.
Criteria:
- Contributes to the success, competitiveness, and/or growth of their company or organization at the highest level.
- Maintains a stellar reputation for promoting best real estate practices within their own company and in concert with their service providers and vendors.
- Sustains a strong commitment and contribution to professional industry organizations or educational institutions as an educator, leader, or sponsor.
- Demonstrates the highest ethical and professional behavior at all times and is a role model to other professionals as an educator, mentor, or sponsor.
Requirements:
- The nominee’s company must approve this award submission. By approving the submission, any text, quote, images, video, and logos included in the submission may be used by CoreNet Global - New England Chapter for use in publicizing the awards program and events.
- You must provide a professional headshot of the nominee.You can upload files at the end after all questions have been submitted.
- Please include up to three reference letters - the person submitting should include on company letterhead. Ideally, these letters represent a mix of colleagues, supervisors, clients, etc. You can upload files at the end after all questions have been submitted.
- To receive the award, the recipient must be a CoreNet Global member at the time of nomination and acceptance.
- If selected to win, you are required to be in attendance at the Awards of Excellence on May 14th at New England Aquarium.

The End User Leadership Award: Global is designed to recognize a Global CoreNet Global – New England Chapter member who provides leadership to the success of the corporate real estate industry and of their department, team, and company.
Criteria:
- Contributes to the success, competitiveness, and/or growth of their company or organization at the highest level.
- Maintains a stellar reputation for promoting best real estate practices within their own company and in concert with their service providers and vendors.
- Sustains a strong commitment and contribution to professional industry organizations or educational institutions as an educator, leader, or sponsor.

The Service Provider Leadership Award is designed to recognize a Global and/or North American CoreNet Global – New England Chapter member who contributes in a meaningful way to the success of the corporate real estate industry as well as that of their department, team or client’s company or real estate organization.
Criteria:
- Contributes to the success of their client’s company or their real estate organization at the highest level.
- Maintains stellar reputation for delivering on the best real estate practices within their client’s company or their real estate organization.
- Works professionally and respectfully in concert with other service providers and vendors.
- Sustains a strong commitment and contribution to professional industry organizations or educational institutions as an educator, leader, or sponsor.
- Demonstrates the highest ethical and professional behavior at all times and is a role model to other service providers and real estate professionals as an educator, mentor, or sponsor.
Requirements:
- This award submission must be approved by the nominee’s company. By approving the submission, any text, quote, images, videos, and logos that are included in the submission may be used by CoreNet Global - New England Chapter for use in publicizing the awards program and events.
- You must provide a professional headshot of the nominee.

The CoreNet Global – New England Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award is designed to recognize a CoreNet Global – New England Chapter member who volunteers their time and contributes in a meaningful way to the success of the CoreNet Global – New England Chapter.
Criteria:
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to furthering CoreNet Global – New England Chapter goals and objectives.
- Promotes CoreNet Global – New England Chapter as an organization.
- Serves as an active member of one or more CoreNet Global – New England Chapter committees.
- Enthusiastically participates in CoreNet Global – New England Chapter events and programs.
- Networks among the CoreNet Global – New England Chapter members.
Requirements:
- The nominee’s company must approve this award submission. By approving the submission, any text, quote, images, videos, and logos that are included in the submission may be used by CoreNet Global - New England Chapter for use in publicizing the awards program and events.
- You must provide a professional headshot of the nominee.

- Evidence of networking and mentoring with other CoreNet Global - New England Chapter members

The Young Leader Leadership Award is designed to recognize a CoreNet Global - New England Chapter Young Leader member who contributes in a meaningful way to the corporate real estate industry and to the success of their department, their team, and their company’s real estate organization. This award recognizes a Young Leader who over the course of the year showed dedication and enthusiasm for his/her work, exemplifies excellence and should be considered “one to watch” in the broad field of corporate real estate (CRE). This may be awarded to an end user or service provider.
Criteria:
- Demonstrates quantifiable achievements that contribute to the success, competitiveness, and/or growth of their company or organization.
- Demonstrates best practices and implements initiatives that positively impact the profession.
- Has been actively involved in real industry organizations including CoreNet Global over the past 12 months.
- Is engaged in and pursuing professional development.
Requirements:
- Nominee must be a Young Leader member of CoreNet Global at the time of nomination and acceptance and must be age 35 or younger by May 15, 2025.
- The nominee’s company must approve this award submission. By approving the submission, any text, quote, images, video, and logos included in the submission may be used by CoreNet Global - New England Chapter for use in publicizing the awards program and events.
- You must provide a professional headshot of the nominee.
- Please include up to three reference letters. Ideally, these letters represent a mix of colleagues, supervisors, clients, etc.
- If selected to win, you are required to be in attendance at the Awards of Excellence on May 14th at New England Aquarium.

The Best New Workplace Awards - Large Project (>75,000 SF) and Small Project (<75,000 SF) are given to projects that align with the CRE business drivers and support the organization’s mission with the use of real estate, innovations in design, functionality and technology. In other words, these awards recognize real estate projects that best support the business’s goals, not necessarily the projects with the best design. For these awards, “workplace” is intended to encompass space where people work; this could include community workspaces, collaborative office environments, labs, or manufacturing/industrial spaces.
Criteria:
- The workplace project must be transformative to the core business functionality and/or work environment of the company or business unit for which it was built.
- The submission should demonstrate how the workplace project is intended to or has contributed to the strategic initiatives and/or goals of the company in some measurable way. Examples include positive impact on bottom line, productivity of employees, employee retention and/or recruitment metrics for hiring new employees, etc.
- The project should represent a unique business or real estate concept, application, or process that is applicable to other business organizations. For example, the concept has advanced the field of real estate utilization, process management, design, and/or engineering but can be applied generally to any other workplace project.
- Please touch on how your project team incorporated strategy, sustainability, and inclusive design elements to enrich the Human Experience via the incorporation of an ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy.
Requirements:
- Project must have been completed between November 2, 2023 and December 31, 2024.
- The project cannot have been previously submitted to the CoreNet Global - New England Chapter Awards of Excellence Program (unless with approval otherwise)
- You must provide 6-12 photos of the finished project.
- Two one-page attachments (e.g., press releases, project presentations, survey results, process matrix, etc.) are also allowed with the submission text and photos.
- Letters of recommendation are not required for project award submissions but may be included if desired.
- Please include a 250-word executive summary of the project. The summary will be used in the CoreNet Global - New England Chapter press release if selected as a winner.
- Please confirm the project client or company’s local representative will attend the Awards event.
- Please list all partners with contact information that contributed to the project/nomination (examples include Broker, OPM, Architect, Engineer, Contractor, Furniture, etc).
- Please provide the name of the person/firm submitting this nomination if different from the main point person for the submission.
- Please indicate if you are selected, can we have a program that tours their space?
- All winning projects will be required to create a video that does not exceed 3-minutes to show at the Awards of Excellence Gala in May 2025 (date/venue TBD). The video must include client participation. This video is not required at the time of nomination and will not be used in the evaluation process.
- If selected to win, a representative must be in attendance at the Awards of Excellence on May 14th at New England Aquarium.

Best New Workplace Award - Outside of New England Award will be given to a project outside of New England that was managed by a New England team. The project must align with the CRE business drivers and support the organization’s mission with the use of real estate, innovations in design, functionality and technology. In other words, this award recognizes a real estate projects that was built outside of New England that best supports the business’s goals, not necessarily the projects with the best design.
