Planting the seeds of change in CRE
The CREW Network Foundation scholarship program supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. With the help of our generous donors and our Scholarship Endowment Founders, we were able to award twenty-five (25) $5,000 academic scholarships to young women in 2021. To date, CREW Network and its Foundation have awarded 196 scholarships totaling $1,147,500 USD.
 
In 2022, 30 scholarship award winners will receive:
  • $5,000 USD (or CAD equivalent) for tuition and books
  • Paid internship opportunity (summer of 2023)
  • Complimentary CREW Network student at-large membership (24 months)
  • Complimentary registration to the CREW Network Foundation 
  • Travel stipend for expenses related to CREW Network Convention up to $600
  • A six-month mentoring opportunity with a senior leader in commercial real estate. 
You are eligible to apply for the CREW Network Foundation scholarship if you are:
  • a female or identfy as female
  • a citizen of the United States or Canada
  • not a previous recipient of a CREW Network Foundation scholarship
  • a full-time college junior, senior or graduate (during the entire 2022-2023 academic year)
  • a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • focusing your study in one or more of the CREW Network Qualified Fields of Commercial Real Estate (QFCRE)
 How your application is considered:
  • Academic record
  • Commitment to a career within the commercial real estate industry
  • Extracurricular activities
  • History of employment and/or volunteer work
  • Personal and professional references
  • Practical experience in the field (internship or job)
  • Noteworthy accomplishments (related to studies, community service, etc.)
  • Written statement about career goals
Timeline:
  • January 4th to April 15th — Applications accepted
  • May/June — Applications reviewed by CREW Network Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee
  • July — Winners announced
Before your application is complete, the following items MUST be received by April 15, 2022:
  • This completed online scholarship application
  • Official, certified collegiate transcripts from every school attended. Graduate students MUST include ALL undergraduate transcripts in addition to any completed graduate studies.
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation from a professor, mentor or employer.
If any one of these items is missing, your application will be denied.
Transcripts can be sent electronically via an official online transcript provider to crewfoundation@crewnetwork.org. Transcripts must be received by CREW Network Foundation office by April 15th.
