The FLORIDA REALTORS BOARD CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL endorsement is a voluntary process and an extra step that Florida Realtors members can choose to obtain.  It is a demonstration of their desire to practice at the top of their profession and be recognized for delivering high-quality professional service to their customers.

The FLORIDA REALTORS BOARD CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL endorsement is a program that defines competence in the real estate industry in Florida, thereby raising the bar of professionalism for the public, the consumer, and the member.

For Florida Realtor members, board certification is a mark of distinction.  It indicates (to their peers and the consumer) the education, involvement, and experience that they have undertaken beyond the minimal standards and competency requirements in the real estate industry.

Please read through all the criteria before uploading any documents.  PLEASE download the Flyer/Checklist for assistance (https://www.floridarealtors.org/membership/specialties/board-certified).  Please do not provide a LINK to a website – we need actual documentation of the items required.  The application does not allow for any substitutions on any of the requirements.

The application fee is $795. Once you have completed your application and your application is approved, you will be emailed a link from Professional Development to make your payment.  The email will contain a passcode you will use to process your payment.  If you have any questions about the application process please email:  sharonh@floridarealtors.org.  DEADLINE TO APPLY IS MARCH 31, FOR THE 2023 CALENDAR YEAR.  Members obtaining the endorsement will be announced at the Annual Convention in August 2023 during the Board of Directors Meeting (August 19, 2023).  Once your application is approved, and payment is processed you will receive a final email with notification of your Endorsement Status.  This process could take as long as 10 to 12 weeks.  MOST IMPORTANT: WE ARE RESTATING THAT THE DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION OF YOUR APPLICATION IS MARCH 31ST.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS OR SUBSTITUTIONS.  PLEASE BE SURE THAT ALL OF THE CORRECT DOCUMENTS NEEDED SHOULD BE UPLOADED BEFORE THE DEADLINE.  A LATE UPLOAD OF INFORMATION AFTER THE DEADLINE – EVEN IF IT IS TO CORRECT A MISTAKE – WILL NOT QUALIFY (REGARDLESS OF THE ACTUAL COMPLETION DATE FALLING WITHIN THE LAST TWO YEARS).
