For more than two decades, the Heroines of Washington Awards (previously Heroines in Technology) has celebrated professional women in the community to recognize excellence and leadership in volunteer service. An award will be presented to the most outstanding individual within each category, and all finalists will be recognized during the event.

Individuals are first nominated by peers, managers, supervisors or even the organizations they have supported. Following, each individual is asked to submit an application to be considered. Each application is carefully and blindly reviewed and scored by a committee of former heroine awardees.

Healthcare
Real Estate
Rising Star
Corporate
Lifetime Achievement

This year's event Co-Chairs are: Judy Bjornaas of ManTech, and Holly McKenzie of PwC.

The event will take place at 6pm on November 10th at The Ritz in Tysons, VA
