Description

The Maryland State Golf Association Junior Grant Program is a new initiative created to support junior golfers residing in Maryland and Washington, D.C. by expanding access to the game and encouraging continued development through competitive and educational opportunities. This program is intended for high school players pursuing Division I college golf scholarships and/or selection to Team Maryland, part of the USGA’s U.S. National Development Program.

Grants are awarded to eligible junior golfers and are designed to help reduce barriers to participation while providing meaningful opportunities for growth within the game. The program reflects the MSGA’s ongoing mission to serve Maryland and Washington, D.C. golfers by investing in the next generation and supporting pathways that promote long-term engagement in golf. Four grants up to $5,000 will be awarded to support expenses such as coaching, practice facilities, tournament entry fees, and/or equipment.
