Madison Trust is an initiative led by University Advancement and managed by the Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations, in partnership with colleagues and campus partners across JMU. Please submit your proposal by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024. If you need assistance with the submission process, contact us at madisontrust@jmu.edu.
We invite and encourage project ideas from all areas and disciplines across campus. Proposals should emphasize innovation, creativity, and the potential to fund pioneering ideas that offer new opportunities for James Madison University. Project budgets should range up to $25,000.
Once your proposal is complete, it will be sent for initial approval to your leadership, as indicated in your submission. Upon approval, your proposal will advance for review by our team, relevant campus partners, past donors, and JMU Senior Leadership. Ten finalists will be chosen to present their projects at the Madison Trust event on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Please note that funding awarded through Madison Trust is a one-time allocation. It is intended to support new initiatives and is not designed to supplement or relieve existing budget commitments. This funding is separate from the annual budget initiative process.
