Calling all insurance and risk management experts!


Pass on your knowledge and expertise to the insurance and risk management community by participating in a session at the 2025 NAAIA National Conference. Showcase your expertise, experience and facilitate conversations about innovative best practices in insurance and risk management. Share your big ideas, innovative strategies, and solutions that will benefit the entire insurance community.

Proposals may focus on any aspect of insurance and risk management that would be beneficial to NAAIA Members, Partners and supporters. DE&I, Allyship, career enhancement, coverage trends, claim development, cyber and technology risk, reinsurance, ESG, and emerging markets are a few of the desired areas of emphasis.

Have an idea for a topic for NAAIA to cover outside of the National Conference?  Do you wish to be considered for speaker opportunities outside of the National Conference?  You're in the right place!  The 2025 Call for Speakers encompasses all Speaker and Topic Submissions for topics and presenters for all NAAIA events.

All program submissions MUST be submitted electronically for consideration. Late and/or incomplete submissions, as well as sales pitches, will NOT be considered. We will only accept proposals that comply with all of the outlined guidelines.

We anticipate approximately 1500 attendees at the 2025 NAAIA National Conference which will be held in Philadelphia, PA from September 23-26, 2025.  This event features more than 150 speakers who present on a variety of diversity, inclusion, insurance and risk management topics.

 

Format and Length:

  • 60 Minutes: Workshop Sessions that educate and drive participation, discussion and engagement.

  • 20 minutes: Trade Show | Career Expo Stage Presentations on unique, cutting edge and creative solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • Your submission must be strong with a clear statement of your educational objectives.

  • Session lengths are 60 minutes or 20 minutes. The shorter "TED-style" presentations will be held in the Trade Show | Career Expo Stage and are limited to a maximum of ten (10) PowerPoint slides (slides are not required).

  • If your submission is not accepted for the 60-minute time slot, we will consider the submission for a 20-minute presentation.

  • Additionally, you have the opportunity to opt to be considered for other NAAIA events throughout the year.

  • Ensure that your submission reads well and is grammatically correct. A poorly written submission will be rejected.

  • You have until the posted deadline to edit a submission.

  • Please note: The proposals and requests to present are made on an individual basis. If a selected proposal/presenter should change companies a written request for a substitution may be sent to the NAAIA Conference Planning Committee (NAAIA may also request substitutions at its discretion).  NAAIA reserves the right to decline the inclusion of the requested substitution.

  • Accepted sessions are assigned in various time slots.  We cannot move or change a time once confirmed.

  • There is no guarantee that the session you participate in will be well attended.  If a session has low registrations we will contact you to determine if/how the session will proceed.

  • All Sessions are comprised by and for NAAIA and are not designed to spotlight any presenter or partner's rather they are designed to present relevant content to the NAAIA audience.  As such, NAAIA reserves the right to make changes to the title, description, length, number of speakers, additional speakers and other elements of your presentation when considering the intent and goal of the submission. 

  • All presentations must be designed on the provided NAAIA branded presentation template.  No company links or logos will be permitted outside of NAAIA's approved session sponsor logos or other marks NAAIA deems appropriate.  Presenters will be permitted to share/display their LinkedIn profiles as well as include their contact info in the Conference App.

  • Proposal and requests to present are individual in nature. We welcome recommendations for full panels however, NAAIA will make the final determination of the participants and format for all sessions. Moreover, please keep in mind when crafting your recommendations that NAAIA has a a strict policy of only one presenter per company/organization per session.

  • NAAIA also reserves the right to record or live stream all sessions as deemed appropriate.

  • Acceptance of the NAAIA Guidelines and Agreement document is mandatory. All speakers must sign this document.

  • NAAIA encourages speakers to take advantage of the full conference by registering for the enitre conference or to attend the day you’re speaking at the day rate. If you plan to attend only to speak at the session you are participating in, a complimentary session-only badge will be issued. Speakers are not provided a paid registration for the confernece.  Registered speakers may enjoy all the conference benefits and attend events, breakfast/lunch, sessions, the gala and access the exhibit hall alongside all other registered attendees.

  • If you cannot adhere by these rules, your session will be canceled or reassigned. 

  • Topics are reviewed by the NAAIA National Conference Planning Committee and supporting NAAIA National Board, Staff, and Contractors. Decisions are based exclusively on relevance of the content submitted and interest to NAAIA conference attendees.
