The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is proud to present the selection of the OSU Seniors of Significance and Outstanding Senior awards. The Awards Committee looks forward to receiving your application.

The OSU Alumni Association presents the Seniors of Significance and Outstanding Senior awards to students who truly exemplify and embody the Cowboy Code, which honors the university’s land-grant mission and commends the academic achievements, character and personal impact of our incredible students.

All undergraduate seniors who have expected graduation dates from OSU-Stillwater or OSU-Tulsa as of December 2025, May 2026 or Summer 2026 are eligible to apply. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025.

Please ensure you are saving your work throughout your application. Any application with areas left blank or marked as “N/A” will be incomplete and the application will not be considered.

Seniors interested in learning more about the application process can attend an information session held at the OSU Alumni Center in the Jones Seminar Room. Two sessions are offered, but neither are required:

  • Wednesday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m.
  • Thursday, August 28 at noon

For those unable to attend either session, a video recording of the training will be available.

*NOTE: Nominations are not required to apply for the award.

The selection process is two parts:
Step 1: Fall Semester
Applications are reviewed and scored for selection of Seniors of Significance and announced in early October. Selected students will be honored during a reception on Tuesday, November 18 at 5:30 p.m.

Step 2: Spring Semester
Individuals selected for Seniors of Significance will interview in January for the selection of Outstanding Seniors. Selected students will be honored during a reception on Tuesday, April 7 at 6:00 p.m.
