SRS 2026 Trainee Awards Application

These Sleep Research Society competitive awards exist to support our trainees' efforts to grow in the field. Each application will be reviewed on its own merit.

Please apply to all awards for which you are eligible and interested, attending to the requirements in the application. Trainees are welcome to apply for multiple awards but can only be awarded one

To begin your application, you will need to create a Reviewr account or log in to an existing one.

New Users:

  • Click the “Create an Account” button to get started. If you don’t see the button, it may be hidden behind the chat support box—look for the small arrow in the bottom-right corner of your screen to minimize the chat window.
  • When creating your account, you will be asked to provide your email address, first and last name, and create a password.
  • Your password must be 7–12 characters long and include: 
    • One uppercase letter, One lowercase letter, One number, No dictionary words

Once your account is created, you can begin your application. 

Returning Users:

  • Click the "Login" button on the right side of the landing page to log in.
  • Once logged in, to review or edit your submission, click "My Submission" in the left navigation (single sheet symbol, second option).
  • You may edit your submission through the application deadline: March 2, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

 

Application Requirements:

  • Applicants must be trainee/student status. The First Time Attendee Award allows non-members to apply. To be considered for all other awards, you must be an SRS Trainee/Student Member in good standing (Postdoctoral Fellow, Predoctoral Student, Undergraduate Student).
  • Applicants must attend the Trainee Symposia Series sessions at SLEEP 2026 on Sunday, June 14, 2026.*
  • Applicants may be required to have submitted an abstract for SLEEP 2026 (please review the separate requirements for each award). 
  • If you are applying for the Trainee Merit Award you must download and complete the CRediT checklist and have your mentor sign the completed checklist. You will upload the signed PDF to your application.

*Applicants are strongly encouraged to also attend the Saturday portion of the Trainee Symposia Series on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm (ET).
