Description

The NCHC Student of the Year Award is presented to honors students who are student members of NCHC, have made an impact on their Honors program, and who have participated in honors at the regional and/or national level. Two students will be selected by the NCHC Student Affairs Committee: one from a 2-year institution, and one from a 4-year institution. $500 will be awarded to each winner, and also $500 to their respective honors program or college. Winners will be announced at the NCHC Annual Conference awards ceremony.

Note: You must have a Reviewr account to submit a nomination or application. 

Rules

Student nominees must be currently active in honors at an NCHC member institution and must be nominated by their honors program director.

Directors, to nominate a student for the NCHC Student of the Year, please complete the form below and submit a resume or list of accomplishments. You must also provide a letter in recommendation of your student's nomination. The Student Affairs Committee would like you to elaborate on why this student should be chosen NCHC Student of the Year. Please nominate only one student from your program for this award.

Nominations will open April 1 and close September 6 of each year.
