The Texas High School Ideas Challenge motivates high school students — like YOU — to explore entrepreneurship and discover the benefit of an entrepreneurial mindset. The Challenge is modeled after the Texas A&M Ideas Challenge open to current students at Texas A&M University. To compete, you only need an idea! No business plan or product development is required for the Texas High School Ideas Challenge. You should prepare and submit a compelling application that illustrates the creative, careful and methodical planning that has gone into your idea.

All Texas high school students may participate, and you may submit ideas individually or as a team. After the application deadline, all entries will be reviewed in a Pre-Screen Round and scored by a hand-selected group of judges. Finalists (hopefully that will include you!) will be selected from this Round and invited to pitch their ideas on Competition Day. Winners (again, maybe you!) will be announced and awarded prizes during an Awards Reception & Showcase that same evening.
