The AGC of California Owner of the Year Award recognizes owners who demonstrate exceptional leadership, collaboration, and commitment to the success of California’s construction industry. This prestigious award honors individuals and organizations that foster strong partnerships with contractors, promote innovation, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects that benefit their communities.

More than recognizing project success, the award celebrates owners who create an environment of trust, teamwork, and mutual respect; setting the standard for effective owner-contractor relationships and advancing excellence throughout the industry.

Winners will be honored at the 2027 AGC of California Installation & Awards Gala on February 5, 2027, at the Fairmont San Francisco.

Rules

1. Owner may be public or private.

2. Submission may be made by either Owner or Contractor.

3. Owner must have active construction projects and procurement.

4. Owner should engage with the Association (owner/Contractor liaison meetings, speak at association events, board meetings, etc.).

5. Owner must have a positive track record of collaboration and partnering within the industry
