The HBA Foundation is seeking experienced leaders to join its Board of Directors and help guide the organization’s mission to develop the next generation of healthcare leaders.

The Role of the Board

Board members play a critical role in providing governance, strategic direction, and financial oversight while serving as ambassadors for the Foundation across the healthcare ecosystem. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute your expertise, broaden your impact, and advance programs that strengthen the future healthcare workforce.

Responsibilities and Engagement

Board service includes shaping long-term strategy, supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts, and participating in committee work aligned with the Foundation’s priorities. Members are expected to actively contribute to advancing the mission and ensuring continued growth and sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing governance and fiduciary oversight
  • Contributing to organizational strategy and priorities
  • Supporting fundraising and donor engagement efforts
  • Serving as an ambassador for the Foundation
  • Participating in board meetings and committee work

Time Commitment

Approximately 3–5 hours per month, including board meetings, committee participation, and mission-related activities.

Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis.
